Its not like a henna tattoo is new to culture, however as a trend, its definitely making a wave in pop culture. Its not permanent, it doesn't hurt and it is definitely a statement piece on any exposed part of the body you choose to use as a canvas. Henna ink whether in red, black or brown usually lasts for a week and half at best, because it will fade eventually.
HOW DO YOU Remove A HENNA TATTOO?
Baking soda and lemon juice
Use half a cup of warm water, a full tablespoon of baking soda, and two teaspoons of lemon juice. Apply this mixture with a cotton swab and let it soak into your skin before removing it. Keep repeating until the henna can't be seen. You can find more details at www.healthline.com.
WHERE DID HENNA TATTOO Originate FROM?
Pakistan, India, Africa, and the Middle East
Henna ink tattoos are over 5000 years old and have many different meanings, mostly being attached to getting married or ceremonial events at a wedding, however they initially were used for their cooling properties in hot desert climate regions. Designs vary from regions/cultures, but mostly contribute to the idea of good health, fertility, wisdom, protection and spiritual enlightenment.
